I needed a reliable work surface next to my Traeger BBQ smoker, which had to fit within the limited space available on our deck. Dimensionally, the Kozyard BBQ Grill Storage Cart 24-inch unit is a perfect fit for me!
Assembly: It was a breeze - literally. My unit arrived in perfect condition via FedEx, and it was well-packaged. I was pleasantly surprised by its sturdiness, weighing nearly 50 lbs! The assembly instructions were clear and well-thought-out, though they required careful consideration at each step. The unit seemed to be very well-engineered – all the pieces fit together snugly and exactly as intended. Overall, the assembly took about 30 minutes.
Operation/Use: I love it! It fits perfectly next to the BBQ and provides a great workspace for grilling and dry storage for bags of pellets. I have found that I can store several 20 lb. bags of pellets in the storage area without any issues, and the unit is still easy to roll and move if needed.
Quality: I really appreciate the all-metal construction compared to a similar unit I saw that was made of plastic. This unit feels much sturdier and stronger. The finish of the unit is very high quality, making it a solid, high-end product you can feel.
Assembly was a bit of a challenge until I got a friend to help me. He would hold the parts and I would assemble. I used a power driver with a hex bit to speed up the process. The overall quality is good. I am looking forward to having it in my outdoor kitchen for years.
You will not assemble this in under 3 hours - an average person attempting this alone will spend at least 5-6 hours. Very difficult small Allen head bolts need to be placed in tight corners throughout. Quality for an outdoor grill cart seems fine, but assembly is very frustrating and tedious.
I bought all metal because I wanted a sturdy cabinet and I was not disappointed.
This is what I was looking for at the price I was looking for. It is not the thickest of aluminum, but it is good. The doors came in dented, but the company made good on it and sent me some new ones. Even though it took over a month to get them.
