Kozyard Outdoor Privacy Screen FAQ
Common questions from U.S. customers about Kozyard outdoor privacy screens, installation, durability, and wind performance.
Kozyard Outdoor Privacy Screens are available in two main versions based on the installation surface: hard ground and soft ground.
- Hard Ground Type: Designed for solid surfaces such as concrete or pavers for a secure, stable setup.
- Soft Ground Type: Made for grass or soil and can also be installed on concrete when used with Kozyard’s exclusive hard-ground installation screw kit.
Kozyard Outdoor Privacy Screens use durable, weather-resistant materials. The panels, base plates, and covers are made from medium-density polyethylene with a realistic wood-grain texture, while the poles, ground stakes, and edge bands are aluminum. This combination of plastic and aluminum delivers long-term strength and outdoor durability.
Yes. The panels are made from medium-density polyethylene with a smooth surface that works well with water-based exterior paint, so you can match your screen to your home or garden style.
Yes. The Kozyard Privacy Screen is engineered for wind stability, using 11-inch galvanized steel stakes that anchor deeply into the ground and 6-inch foot plates that help distribute weight and can be buried in soil. Sturdy aluminum posts and flexible anchoring options across different terrains further improve wind resistance.
The screen can be assembled in a straight line, but we recommend an “L” shape for better stability and wind resistance. The 90° corner helps lock the structure in place. If you prefer a straight-line layout, using hard-ground accessories and installing on concrete will make it more stable than placing it directly on grass.
