Nice and big for the deck. A little disappointed post was bigger than standard size, but understand due to size of the canopy. Did have one manufacturing defect. The weld on the upper hand screw that keeps umbrella from free turning in the breeze was not properly done and broke free from the shaft first time I tightened it. Thankfully there are two of them to secure the shaft.
I am actually surprised how cheap this is being sold for. It is a good umbrella and works well. I live in a windy area and we used it two weekends so far. I put two 70 pound bags of tube sand in the base and it does not move. We had a small hole in the umbrella and where the two poles screw together there was some play. I contacted them and they sent replacements. I am happy with the product. If it lasts one season it's paid for itself and I'll just buy the exact same thing again. It cost me an extra $15 for the tube sand plus what I paid for the umbrella.
Perfect 4/5 nice and easy
This umbrella is THE BEST! The pole is much bigger than the hole for my table so it did not fit. However, this pole is super sturdy! We assembled it and left it on the porch with 152 pounds of sand on the base. In the middle of the night we had a hellacious storm that took down trees and power lines and this bad boy was still standing! We did not have the umbrella open during the storm but I was expecting it to find it in my neighbors yard in the morning. I love it so much!
