JosephYou want this gazebo!

I am loving this 10x12 gazebo. After much research and shopping around we decided on this one. I wanted one where the mosquito netting met the frame and did not leave a gap like others do. My last one (not a hard top) had a gap of 2+ inches that was not effective in keeping the mosquitos out. Assembly: We are older and had to pace ourselves and also work when the sun wasn't directly on it because the parts get hot, so I can't give an accurate time frame for assembling it. It did take us multiple days and if you can have extra people for certain steps it will make it easier. Most impressive is the packaging and having no major issues with the pre drilled holes lining up. I kept expecting to run into something that didn't line up but fortunately that was not the case. The parts are not just thrown into the box, they are wrapped well and fit together in the boxes so there is minimal movement. This is a sturdy gazebo and a great value. The mosquito netting seems to be a better quality than any others I have had with heavier duty zippers and I look forward to extending the season by using the solid curtains once the weather cools down. The instructions are for the most part clear once you get used to how they are trying to tell you what to do, but having someone with good spatial recognition is very helpful. For some reason we were sent an instruction booklet showing different parts that what we received. Contacted customer service and they quickly sent the new instructions and the parts that were needed. It seems that they have made some improvements from their earlier model and we got the old instructions. The gazebo was shipped in 5 boxes. Parts are clearly marked, but there are a lot of parts!! Work gloves are helpful to push the roof panels into place. Only suggestion would be to include a better type of hex wrench that can be used with a drill or some type of attachment/extender. Overall, I am very satisfied with this gazebo and I think we did a good job putting it together since there were no leaks when we had a heavy downpour.

Darrell BunyardA Spacious and Sturdy Addition to Our Backyard

We recently added the Kozyard Alexander 12'x16' Hardtop Aluminum Gazebo to our backyard, and it has truly transformed our outdoor space. The galvanized steel double roof canopy not only provides ample shade but also adds a touch of elegance to our patio. The aluminum frame is both sturdy and rust-resistant, ensuring longevity even in various weather conditions.

One of the standout features is the included mosquito netting and privacy sidewalls. These additions have allowed us to enjoy evenings outdoors without the nuisance of insects, and the sidewalls offer a sense of seclusion, making our gatherings more intimate.

Assembly Tips:
The assembly was mostly straightforward, but a few tips helped make the process smoother. First, I recommend having at least two people to help with the assembly, as some parts, especially the roof panels, can be heavy and tricky to handle alone. Secondly, take your time with the instructions and double-check each step before securing anything. Some of the bolts and screws can be a bit tight, so having a power drill with a screwdriver bit on hand makes the process much easier. Lastly, it's helpful to assemble the frame before attaching the roof panels. This makes it easier to align everything correctly.

It’s also a good idea to lay out all the pieces before starting, as it helps avoid confusion later on. A few extra sets of hands to hold pieces in place during assembly can speed things up.

Overall, the Kozyard Alexander Gazebo has exceeded our expectations, providing both style and functionality to our outdoor living area. It’s become the perfect spot for family gatherings, evening relaxation, and even outdoor meals.

Tom FlakerGood Quality Gazebo

We are very pleased with the end result of the Gazebo. Took my wife and I (both 60+) about 15 hours to assemble. The instructions were mostly pictures and left a lot to be desired. The installation video online was for a previous version of this Gazebo, but still worth the watch.

Things were packed very thoroughly. The frame was pretty straight forward and went together rather easily. We did have a little trouble with one of the beam connectors, but worked thru it. The roof supports took a little more time, especially the ones that use the little inserts. Dry fit these sections since the instructions were iffy. The end caps were also a little difficult.

We were concerned with the roof since we were putting in a tight spot. The little roof at the top was the most difficult aspect. We bagged the little plastic wings since the would not stay on even with double sided tape. For the 4 piece section of the little roof, we assembled on the ground and temporarily held together with blue painters tape. We were able to install as this one piece. The little end caps went on easier this time. The large roof panels were more tedious than difficult. We had 8 and 6 foot ladders along with a step stool. Once you get the middle #10 bolt in it was just a matter of minor tweaks to get daylight before installing the next bolt. The bottom piece for all the #5 bolts has to remain loose during installation. It went well having a person on top and another below. We did the 12 foot sides last and had the most difficult with the last half of the last side with lining up the holes.

We are not planning to use the screens, but did insert the little hooks. We also put the top bird screens in place and they were a little tricky. When we pulled to middle bolt to install one of the little rails popped and we thought we might be doing the roof panels on that side over again.

The work and money seem to be worth the effort. The end result is very nice.

Update 2025: Gazebo still looks like the day we put it up
